Job Title: Electrician Foreman (Project Management Specialist)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Lead and Installer for electrical system installations including but not limited to:

  • Personnel management, leadership, mentorship
  • Understand current version of national electric code in relation to commercial, industrial & residential electrical system installations including electrical services, grounding and bonding
  • Read blueprints, identify, interpret, translate, implement system design while adapting to field conditions
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems as well as specialty systems including addressable fire alarm systems, ansul systems, BMS systems, Nurse call systems, sound masking systems
  • Manage labor/workforce for commercial projects up to/including 50,000 square feet
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical service installations up to/including three phase 208/120v 1600amp size, as well as up to 50 meter banks
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical service installations utilizing rigid metallic steel and intermediate metal conduit including threading & bending as required, up to/including three phase 208/120v 600amp size
  • Electrical distribution system installation, including layout and coordination of bus duct
  • Healthcare facility electrical installations including patient care areas, xray, MRI, CT scan systems
  • Install Low voltage/horizontal cabling /IT infrastructure; including punch downs and testing of projects with 400+ cable drops
  • Commercial generator installations indoor, natural gas, 300kW 3ph 480v 4w
  • Troubleshoot & install of digital lighting management systems including nLight, Current, Wattstopper
  • Install addressable fire alarm systems, sound masking systems, nurse call systems, solar installations including wiring of inverters and distribution, and VFD programming, installation and wiring.
  • Facilitate communication with client to see the job through completion, adapting to changes, lead times, scheduling and other trade coordination
  • Review and interpret technical documents for field installations as well as management, including submittals, specifications, schematics
  • Procure specified bills of materials and job materials
  • Manage and track labor force for maintaining project schedules
  • Perform the foregoing using the following tools:
    • core drill
    • material lifts
    • aerial (scissor/boom lifts)
    • circuit tracer
    • tugger
    • data cable testing & certification

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in the Related Occupation.Must have proof of OSHA 10 certification.

RELATED OCCUPATION: Foreman or any other job title performing all listed job duties.
